Good value, it was really lovely stay of 3 nights. I stayed here before, always functional and beautifully maintained rooms with extremely comfi bed. The location was stunning, at a medium distance from Chinatown. A supermarket and a shopping centre were right next door...

Great location we went to Barry Humphries at the Capitol Theartre and then caught the train to the Gold Coast. The location was the main reason we chose the Central Station Hotel as it was within walking distance of both. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The hot water took a long while to come through to the shower in the morning.

Great modern hotel - clean, efficient staff, great location. Requested a family room but they had double booked, offered us 2 rooms instead at no extra cost - was happy with that.

The hotel with compact and functional rooms, in a shopping area, to Chinatown as well as Central.
Not bad views from the window.

We stayed at Central Station Hotel because we had caught a train to Sydney from Newcastle and needed a room for one night as were flying out the following morning. The hotel served the purpose of being cheap accommodation not too far from Central Station. The room was basic, but clean and tidy.
It was a little further from the train station than I had thought (we had large luggage, and were walking), but not too bad. (The following night we stayed in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur for the same price, and it was absolutely beautiful and luxurious)
